This residence in N. Voutzas was designed with a clear focus on cost minimization. The solution was an above-ground prefabricated timber frame, produced by Wands and set on a reinforced-concrete basement. The staircase and elevator shaft were constructed in steel.
The architectural concept was initiated by Yiannis Ditsas and further developed by Thomas Ditsas through precise 3D modelling. The project also highlighted an important insight: specialised software, while powerful, can create communication challenges and is better reserved for large, high-budget projects where its advantages are fully justified.
